Not so hot today but a step forward...not all at once)
1 c rice pudding
4 rice cakes
1.5 c apply sauce
4 corn tortillas
1.5 c sweet potato soup
random munching on fresh fruit when making smoothies.
vanilla rice milk
natural gatorade type thing.

way too many cals for me...not to mention empty ones (rice cakes). Have identified for me that boring food/no pre-set meal plan leads me to trouble!

In other news, got my veggie broth and jello ready for Thursday. Friday is a colonoscopy.

As a C, can't wait to be cleaned out by Friday.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Read all night. Evicted the offensive green beans from my home. Had a grand siesta and woke up feeling like I had a mental car wash. Getting good doses of sleep is a priority/goal at the moment.

Oh, I did make lunch involving green beans, but had such a huge anxiety attack that I had to honour/listen to my body by evicting them! Opted for more papaya, instead.

In usual hobbit habit, random order, and throughout the day:

--2 c. papaya
--2 c. raspberries
--15 rainer cherries
--1 c. fresh apricots (these ones are so cute/the size of cherries/ considering pickling them. I love those umeboshi plums)
--1 dwarf banana
--3 Jolly Ranchers
--4 tsp. honey (in ginger tea)
--spinach/zucchini puree (dill, chives, lots of grainy dijon mustard, lavender, homemade blueberry vinager)
--Drank a couple cans of organic unreconstituted veg. broth for the sodium.
--3/4 c. cranberry juice (spritzer)

Most of this stuff was pureed.

Ate regularily. I think that's all for tonight. Craving jello fiercely.

Kate, IBS-d.

Did the Pamela's cookies have dairy in me? That might be contributing to your IBS...they don't bother MY tummy (but dairy doesn't...I stopped eating it cause of sinus trouble)...but it bother's most folks with IBS. Maybe take that out before the apple peel, just a thought!

My food for yesterday:

3 or 4 glasses watermelon juice from juicer (for my UTI...back again!)

About 10 pieces of sweet potato unfries (KATE...how do you make these? In terms of temperature? Do you coat them with PAM? I always mess them up...they burn on top but don't cook all the way through )

Some rice pasta...not sure how much...with a bit of olive oil with the tom sauce (and of course CHIVES!)

Less than one egg white with onions and sauce and garlic powder..mmm

A juice mix (can't recall what was in it...prob celery...oh and my green apple on my empty tummy!)

Lots of water. About 85 oz. (STILL not enough with UTI...I need at least 130-150 oz. right now...minimum!)

A nectarine.

I think that's about it. Felt way too full from all the rice pasta! Considering an all juice diet Anyone wanna join me
