Hey Shannon! Firstly, congratulations on getting in the habit of doing your "caloric" homework. Secondly, have you tried rice noodles as a substitute for your ramen fix? I love rice noodles. If you just want a quick noodle fix, try the THAI KITCHEN SOUPS. You can also buy the rice noodles separately.
Keep being good to you. It keeps you accoutable and aware so that change is more effective.

Still re-thinking breakfast solutions and I just might switch to some cooked grain, i.e. rice, millet, quinoa. In a bit of a rut.

--1 1/3 c. cream of rice (divided into 2 doses)(I felt like this for breakfast and lunch)
--puree of asparagus
--puree of spinach, sweet basil
--MUSHROOMS
--1 c. white jasmine rice (divided doses)
--zucchini sticks

I promise to get a few more calories later as I'm not at a thousand yet and don't want to waste away. Protein 59g (34 %) more than my sedentary bod needs or even wants), Fat 6 g
(8%).

No bloating/gas, etc. I do feel like a glutton for my love of mushrooms. I might give them up for a week.

I have tried rice noodles, and I really like them, but here they come in a HUGE container(like 1 lb of noodles) and you have to cook them all because it's a big bundle that's impossible to separate. i've tried.

thanks for the reminder though!
Maybe I shall try to find them in another form though.

thanks for the encouragement-I have done my calories for 4 days now, but having no clue as to what to aim for, it was pretty hard to know if I was doing well. Now I know I need 1800 calories, and I'm under that today!!And stuffed! And I had way too much junk food!

The Thai Kitchen soups in the packages versus the bowls are around 170 calories/pkg. You get forty grams of noodles, I think. I can't finish a whole pkg. in one sitting. The bowls are larger, but I think they are 2 servings. Most grocery stores have them in the Asian foods aisle. Health Food Stores also carry them. I'm a total noodle head.

I eat a packet of thai kitchen noodle soup nearly every day for lunch. They work out to be only 3 WW points and they are super yummy. Plus, I have to admit, I'm a sodium addict. My favorite is garlic and vegetable. I don't bother with the ones prepackaged in a bowl though- extra calories and waste from the packaging.

Eaten: 25 (got hungry and snacked on TOO many cheerios)
Burned: 5 (I know I'm only supposed to count 4 by WW standards, but I did 600 cal of cardio, so I'm cheating)
TOTAL: 20

I really like the Thai Kitchen Noodle Soup packets as well and I'll have them for lunch a couple of times a week; my favorite is the ginger noodle soup. Sometimes I'll microwave frozen vegetables (usually broccoli since I can tolerate it pretty well) and add them into the soup. YUM!
