One---I finally finished French Women Don't Get Fat. I loved that book!! I rarely read books that are basically just a long essay/non-fiction, without falling asleep but this really held my interest and gave me a new way to look at how I eat and live. I'm definitely going to try to change my attitude about a lot of things.
Also, I found the mint water at Dominick's this weekend, was very excited. But I tried it and my first reaction was that it tasted like Rumplemintz without the alcohol!! Yuck!! But I tried it again yesterday, and it wasn't as bad. I think I just need to get used to it.
Anyway, just wanted you to know!

I'm glad you liked the book. I've been really happy with it too. My mom is worried about fitting into a dress for a friend's upcoming wedding, and I think she's going to try the leek soup weekend. We'll see -- I have a feeling my dad would like a little more to eat. Sorry the mintwater isn't quite to your liking -- Shell agrees with you. I love it and guzzle the stuff down like crazy, but it's very possible that I'm just strange!

I'm confused. Is it just water with mint? What's not to like? Unless it tastes like liquid toothpaste I suppose...

Yup, the ingredients are just purified water and mint. I think it's quite pleasant, but I guess we each have to try it for ourselves. I think it's really cool and refreshing, and I'm totally hooked.

I'm not totally against the mint water...I used to not like peppermint tea but I worked up to it. So there is still hope!!
Bought myself some leek soup to take for lunch...I liked it! Probably not quite what the author had in mind...I'd LOVE to try that weekend thing, just out of curiosity.

My boss bought me 3 bottles from her friend's store (so she gets a discount) and I kept drinking half, then refilling with water since the taste lingers for a while and I wanted to make it last as long as possible!
I am all out now, and I'm sad! I was drinking water like crazy with that mint water, I need to find a place that sells it closer to where I live.
Where did you guys find it?
Cheers!!

Oooooh refilling when you get halfway is a good idea. I'll have to try that. I just found mine at a small grocery store in my neighborhood, but it's also at whole foods, if you have that. Glad you like it.
