Mmm. Pretty good given that I found out my old dog's going to be put down so I've been comfort eating. I haven't been tracking my water intake tho. Protein was 13% today. Fat was too high...all that chocolate didn't help!

Jumped out of bed and put on biking clothes right away LOL. After breakfast I went biking, but I could not do my 12-13 miles because my back was still strained and I didn't want to hurt it more. I biked up the road and picked lilies of the valley. So biking 35 min. Gardening 4 hours. Still need to do ball exercises.

B: oatmeal 340 4g fat
Snack after exercise: luna and banana 280 4.5 g fat
lunch: leftover dumplings, rice, carrot and brocoli no fat 275 cals
dinner: homemade soup and chunk of bread 325 5g fat
dessert: simple summer dessert but no mango sorbet only raspberry- had lots 350
total 1570 cals.

Oh love, I am so sorry that you are going through all this! You poor thing, losing a pet is so awfully hard! I can't imagine how you are feeling right now.
It sounds like you aren't doing too badly with the food, I wouldn't even worry about that stuff right now.

**big big hugs**
Luv Steph

Hi ya'll,

Okay, should get back on track with reporting in since coming back from holiday.
One problem I have with following the zone diet right now is that the grocery list for each week is really long, and I am so broke right now. For now, I will just stick to trying to eat healthier.

Breakfast: None.. got up really late, then was hussled out the door for lunch.

Lunch: Fussili pasta with chicken, mushrooms and tomato sauce. I only ate about half.. and only 2 tiny pieces of chicken 'cause it didn't taste very nice. I ate out, so I dunno how many cals. Also had piece of garlic toast that I did eat.

Snack: Mocha Chocolate Chip muffin (See the recipe exchange for how I screwed them up, hee hee) = 121 cals

Snack: Sunflower seeds

Dinner: Will be having tuna w/extra light mayo on 2 thin slices of sourdough bread.

Snack: Will have some canned peaches later on.

Not many cals I don't think, need to get back to eating more regularly, will tomorrow when I go back to work.

Cheers!
--Steph

Linz, I just wanted to say how sorry I am. We lost our family dog a few years ago on Christmas day and it was one of the hardest things.
