Hi, all! wow, it's been a long time since I've been on the boards, and I see there are some new ones. So what is this board specifically about? Also, I am curious about the concept of "reporting in." I have seen it on the other boards, as well as this. Why do you guys report in? Maybe a better way to phrase that is, how does it help you? How specific should our "reports," be?

Hi Sister Dawn,
We report in for different reasons. Some people report for weight loss, some report for weight gain, some report exercise, some report for various healthy eating reasons or to keep on track with safe foods. The rules are that there are no rules, some people report the number of calories they eat, others the grams of fat, protein etc, others the number of weightwatcher points, Its a very personal thing.
I am trying to lose a few pounds so I am calorie counting and I enjoy the support we all give each other here. I will think twice about eating something bad if I know I have to type it up and report it in! I also try harder to get exercise in order to impress people here (but not this week)
Wanna play?

Hi! Thanks for the response, and the info. Well then, I have a bunch of stuff I could report on. I'm trying to lose about 40 pounds, not sure what's the healthiest way to do it, both for my body in general or my IBS specifically. Exercise does help with my IBS, strangely enough. So yes, I think I'll start reporting in on various things. I haven't been on the boards in awhile, but I know of the awesome support we give each other here. So, you'll see my first report tomorrow. Maybe tonight I'll write a list of things I plan to report on. I'm a list person! LOL!
