Agh! My first day reporting in! Yippee! Well today was pretty good in terms of IBS but in the GERD area I had that weird tomato juice feeling of acid in my throat all day long. I also realized that I did not eat much compared to my normal amount of food which is OFF THE CHARTS!!! I think my medication made me less tempted to eat food.
Breakfast: Honey Chrysanthemum Tea
Lunch: Veggie Drink, Rice
Dinner: Chicken and an Apple w/Hummus and Raisens
Snacks: Cereal and a umeboshi rice ball which was gross by the way!
I went running for the first time in three days today since I had to stop because of my IBS and GERDS. It went pretty well but I still had that icky tomato-juice feeling!
Weight of starting: 103 w/ lots of water but no bloat!

I LOST THOSE TWO POUNDS AGAIN FROM LAST WEEK.... (So that is a total of 79 lost since May 28, 2004)

I have already reached my FIRST goal that was to lose 40 pounds by Fall Sprawl! My SECOND goal was to lose an additional 20 for a total of 60 by Fall Sprawl.... which I did. My THIRD goal was lose another 20 for a total of 80 by January 31, 2005...but that did not happen....

Then my FOURTH goal... was to lose an additional 23 for a total of 90 pounds by April 30, 2005..... This may not be happening either....but it might be close But that is OKAY!! I'm working on NEW goals with my trainer. ... We are not aiming for a "WEIGHT" right now, but more eating the right foods, right portions, right times of the day (several small meals) and LOTS of exercise!!

PT Heather says....I have to loose a total of 3 pounds by next Friday..... at least 1-2 per week which I did not loose this week because I had gained 2 the week before. And she will NOT EXCEPT anything less!! I love her.... she is kickin my @$$!!

ONE MORE pound and that will make 80!!

BMR (+ lifestyle) 1724 + activity 105 - 350 = 1479 calorie target

Breakfast: 2 slices french toast made w/ lite bread, applesauce, 'fried' egg whites w/ marmalade, 2 tea biscuits earlier, cup of teeccino w/ non-dairy creamer & stevia = 270

AM Snacks: banana, 2 jellybeans = 120

Lunch: tuna salad, 5 ff saltine crackers, cold carrots w/ ff french dressing, water = 207

PM Snacks: pretzels, 2 hershey kisses, lemonade = 200

Dinner: spaghetti w/ meatballs, slice of bread w/ margarine, UFO = 673

Dessert: --

Drinks: no idea, but I know it wasn't nearly enough

Food & drinks total: 1470

Activity:
various chores, 15 minute walk to store and back = 105

I still have to work on getting enough vegetables, eating fewer sweets and UFOs, and drinking enough water, but I'm starting to instictively eat good portion sizes (instead of gorging myself to the point of pain or eating so little that I binge later), and I'm THRILLED about that - that was my #1 goal in watching what I eat and reporting in.

Today's goal is the water intake - at least 65oz. I've been having a lot of nausea and headaches lately, and I know it's because I got in the bad habit of not drinking enough.

I'm getting to be a pro at eating low-calorie breakfasts, I think. Heh. Well, egg whites are so low, and the lite bread I'm using is 35 calories per slice... oh, and the tea biscuits are only 16 apiece.

I probably won't eat that much too often... french toast takes too long to make in the morning!
