In the interest of getting in shape and shedding flab, I purchaed a fitness ball, some light weights, and an aerobic glider. I'm a bit out of shape need to start slowly, but I'm clueless as to planning a workout routine. I have a full-time job, two full time-sons, and full-time husband. Suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Here are some good ball exercises --> http://www.getfit.com.au/html/excercises/ball.html
and here are some more --> http://www.ballyfitness.com/rapid_results/expert_advice/product_tip_sheet/Exercises/bb_ex.asp (with some including light weights)
The ball is a great purchase because you can really work your core as well as do other excercises on it without buying lots of equipment.
For your weights, this is a good site to get some of the basic moves down --> http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html (look for dumbbell exercises). That site (exrx.net) also has tonnnnns of other good info on exercise, cardio, weight lifting et al, nutrition, and anything else you could possibly want to know
