I have been noticing I get full very fast. BUT...I need to eat frequently or I get fatigued and weak.

I can have a glass or two tomato juice in the am and I'm full. But I get scared I haven't had enough food (esp. to take my vitmains with), and I am scared of being anorexic again, so I'll eat more...past the point of full.

Is counting calories MOST import or is listening to your bod most import.? If I FEEL full should I stop? And then eat again in say 1.5 hour.

I'm so blinded by my emotional connection to food. I plan to discuss this with my naturopath (also a nutritionist)...but until then I'm counting on ya guys!

Thanks for your help *hugs*

That's actually a pretty healthy pattern to be on, for the sake of IBS... eating small amounts often. And good for you that you're actually feeling full on small amounts! I wish I still had that "problem", heh.

I would say to listen to your body. If you're eating small amounts every 1.5 hours, and you choose your foods well, you should still be able to get plenty of calories. And if you find that you aren't, it's not too difficult to "supplement", like adding a smoothie as your beverage with a meal, for example.

...listen to your bod! Remember that over-eating is also bad for IBS, so if you're full, I'd stop, and try again after a short while.
