Hi ya'll,

I MUST lose some weight soon!! If you read my post on the LR, you know it's turned out into an even bigger problem for me now - Adrian says he doesn't want to have s-e-x with me because of all the weight I have gained.
I feel very unattractive and overweight now, and definitely need SOMETHING that will help me lose weight, instead of losing and gaining the same few lbs over and over!!

I missed my exercise yesterday 'cause I was feeling really crappy, but am back on track today.
I am going to 1.5 hour yoga class at 5 o'clock, so I hope that helps.. although it isn't any cardio so maybe not?

I need to try and figure out a realistic way to find out how to eat.. I have only had a Luna bar, 4 arrowroot cookies and a Lean Cuisine Meal so I've only eaten.. 526 calories today, which I know is pretty low but I dunno what I'll be having for dinner or later on.

Need to be nagged now, can't let my ego take a beating like this!!

Breakfast@ porridge with pineapple
Lunch: pasta and rice salads
Dinner: chinese takeaway prawns with chili, boiled rice, didn't eat sauce
Snacks : marshmallows 160 cals; UFO 335 cals, pear and apple puree

Calories: 2150
Activities: 35 minute walk, ironing, laundry 165 calories

BMR 2299 plus 165 activities less 2150 food = 314 surplus (needed 500) but still not too bad given boldness which were brought about by SEVERE boredom and disillusionment at work.

Tomorrow will be a write off as going to spa and fancy dinner and drinks, don't think I'll get to the gym on Sunday. Next week I will be doing well to get to the gym one evening (I have a friend calling Monday, will go Tues, have work night out Wed, getting hair done Thurs, going away for the weekend Friday) Week of 18th will have to be a gym week!

Aiming for no gain this week due to cheats!

a) started my period 2 days early...
b) snacked on candied nuts at work
c) made ADB's for company last night

total intake: 2517
total calories expended: 2195

it will help balance out for my low days.

I ate:
cheerios, rice milk, acacia
luna bars- 2 during the day
punjab eggplant and pita
vegetable gyoza for a snack
smoked potato and a salmon burger for dinner
lots of sesame almonds (the only nuts I've made so far)
and 2 large muffin sized ADB's- 1 with acacia in it (If i put the full dose in one it changes the consistancy- won't repeat after this batch! I normally do 6 tbs of acacia per recipe, this time i did 6 tbs to half a recipe.... )
along with 12 cups of water!

I haven't really been good. I haven't been doing horribly, but I'm eating like crazy and not always the best choices, either. The thing is, a couple days ago I started feeling like I need to eat more. Not hunger, exactly, but just a general feeling that I need more calories - I know the feeling well from when I was eating WAY too little. Is it possible that my metabolism is actually speeding up a bit? I don't even know if that's possible... I've had a nonexistent metabolism my entire life.

I'm continuing to exercise every day, even if it's just a small walk and some housework, like yesterday.

I weighed in this morning and I'm still holding steady at 127. I had kind of a bummer of a day yesterday, though. I dug out all my warm-weather clothes and cleaned out my closet... I had to pack away all my size 1, 3, and 5 pants, to give to the thrift store, and my 7's and 9's are back to fitting me - some of them tightly. I'm not happy about this. I know I'm healthier now, but I really miss being a 3-5... and I know I can't be that small without starving myself, it's just not in my genetics, but it's still kind of upsetting me. Knowing how heavy I USED to be makes me feel even more ridiculous for being upset, but I really was so happy being thin and proportionate for my height. Now I'm CHUBBY again. How on earth do you learn to love your body like that?

Sorry for ranting... some days I feel good about myself, some days I really just don't.

What clothes size you wear and how much you weigh really do little to determine what size others think you are. I weigh about 135 and wear 4's and some 6's, but people swear I look much tinier. On the other hand, I know a girl that wears 6 and 8's, but she looks MUCH bigger than that. It just depends on your body type.

HTH, or at least doesn't make you feel worse

I still have to report in for this day... I have been really busy (STRESSED) figuring out my new diet plan with my trainer and also car shopping all weekend.... car sales people drive me NUTS!! Anyway.... it has been a very stressful weekend... I'm doing the dishes now (by hand)will be about 4 loads... then when Shane gets home about 7pm we will START laundry...eegggggggg.... Then I have to prepare TWO SEPARATE meals since both Shane & I have NEW and DIFFERENT meal plans with the trainer...eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk I knew it would be different but I did not realize HOW different it would be and more time needed for prep... but that is ok...it will be worth it when all is said and done....we are just adjusting. I'll fill ya all in later.

LOST ONE POUND (So that is a total of 70 lost since May 28th)

I have already reached my FIRST goal that was to lose 40 pounds by Fall Sprawl! My SECOND goal was to lose an additional 20 for a total of 60 by Fall Sprawl.... which I did. My THIRD goal was lose another 20 for a total of 80 by January 31, 2005...but that did not happen....

So, I now have a NEW goal... I want to lose an additional 23 for a total of 90 pounds by April 30, 2005..... This will not be happening either But I will have NEW goals after this coming weekend with my trainer.

I will be starting with my Personal Trainer on April 9th, #1 goal is weight loss!
