So that means I have 3 pounds to lose in 8 days.
-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Better hope for a D attack then (JOKE!)
I am sure you are looking wonderful Tamara, three pounds in eight days is quite a target...why not split the difference and aim for 1.5? I prefer to "revise" goals rather than admit failure. I had such a great start and then lost the plot. Aiming for a no loss no gain again this week, and given that I have entertaining all the weekends before the wedding I think I will be on the maintenance end of things hoping to maintain my 3 down 2 to go...so we are in the same boat. Lets get comfy here!

I was joking. I will never lose 3 pounds in 8 days. Maybe I will lose 1 or 1 1/2. BUT I might lose some on the trip. In fact I am pretty sure I will. Still I want to be 125 by June or mid June.

Again I am so tired and need to do a bunch of stuff before bed (which I wanted to be in 1/2 hour eek!). So briefly: cals 1735 Exercise: half day work and weights and ball exercises. Water: too low I think, but then I work a big day tomorrow and maybe I won't have to pee all the time! Additional: haven't been bloated lately; sort of "poopy" in morning but it goes away. I might need to bring the acacia down.

I'm in a terrible mood, much too down to post what I ate.
Total--Roughly 1160 calories A good portion of those came for the Cocoa-Coconut Rice Krispies I baked (and then ate six of).
But hey, calories are calories, right? I needed the comfort. I'm entirely stressed, and now a very dear friend of mine died unexpectedly this morning. Allot of guilt that goes with that grief.

Hello everyone! I am down another LB or so - now weigh 134.75!! Ladies I must say I am now a huge proponent of the "eat constantly" theory. It seems my many small (and usually healthy) meals/snacks really do help me burn more efficiently. That, plus I am gradually getting more excercise as my foot gets better. Today it is sore, but the culprit is probably my 2.5" pointy-toe heels
Wednesday: Breakfast - the usual oatmeal/apricots/OJ/mint tea combo (366) snack - UFO beverage, red pepper slices, one piece Laffy Taffy (couldn't resist, it was in the kitchenette @work) 189 Lunch - Lemon pepper turkey on sourdough w/spicey mustard (you'll be seeing this one again for a few more days! ) 226 Snack - banana 109 Dinner - Thanksgiving sanwich at Roly Poly (too much mayo but tasty otherwise!) 289 Dessert - few fruit jellies, handfull of choc covered dried cherries, animal crackers (427)
Excercise - 20 min on elliptical, 10 min walking. 1 hr pilates class. Probably burned around 450 cals total if the elliptical display was accurate.
Water - again between 60-70 oz.

take a safe graham cracker- split in half, put 8-10 chips on half (I count for fitday), nuke for 20-30 seconds, add 5 mini marshmallows, nuke for another 10-20 seconds and then put the other half GC on top and smush! YUMMY!
you need to partially melt the chocolate first though or it is still hard when the marshmallows are done, or if you cook it look enough to melt they get hard on you!

I know that at least for me= a small amount of sugar when I'm craving it- a single smore for ex... means I have an easier time sticking to my healthy diet otherwise and since my other non sugary food treats are not as easy to do safely.. I'll do this instead in a heartbeat sometimes...
