Fitday says my lifestyle adds about 1000 calories to my BMR - does this seem reasonable? It seems a heck of a lot to me. I put the lifestyle option that was the one above a seated job as although I do not a lot, I'm on my feet alot of the day.
It's that's correct then I actually have more room to play with to get the extra protein I want in!

That sounds reasonable to me. If you find yourself gaining instead of losing, try adjusting your activity to the next lower level. But it sounds like you're at the right spot.

I finally registered there. It was so fast! Anyway I put strenuous for my workdays and summer gardening days but on non work days I put seated some movement. So it was 1382 for basal and another 1382 for strenuous work and for seated it was 899 so total of 2765 or 2281. For the middle one which I think I will keep (the housework one) it totals 2558. I have been eating between 1700 and 2000 cals a day and dang it I better lose weight!
