And I'm starting again today...so far, not so great (my cereal bars are more calorific than I thought  ).
I've started using fitday and I've decided to make my weight goal to get down to 140 pounds by Christmas...30 pounds to lose by then! 
Give me a talking to if I don't report in, okay?

I'm a bit nervous. I've never had to lose 30 pounds before. So I've never had to lose weight for so LONG before either. This is gonna be tough.

Welcome Linz.
Sign up for fitday.com- its a great way to keep an eye on calories. I have never counted calories before and i am shocked at the number of them in some things that I thought weren't so bad. I take even longer in the supermarket now as I have to check for IBS safe AND low calorie!
I was also shocked at how long it takes to burn off calories through activities. Oh, and glasses of wine, unfortunately are EVIL 
Anyway, welcome to the reporting thread....how much are you hoping to lose by the Dublin trip? (which reminds me must check out the "re-name it?" thread)
