Odd day..

Breakfast: Porridge with berries and honey

Lunch: Half a demibaguette french roll with chicken, cucumber, tomato and corn

Afternoon snack: A slice of lemon cake 131 cals

Dinner: Pasta with a tomato and olive stir in sauce

Snack at cinema: 40 cal of cola bottles jelly sweets (HARIBO make snack sized bags now! I got them in the supermarket today, they are going to last me weeks)

Snack after cinema: A fatter slice of that cake

Water: on target- roughly 75 oz

Activites: Housework- did grocery shopping and put away, cleaned bathroom thoroughly, washed up by hand, did laundry and hung it out to dry etc, I intended going for a walk but we went shopping (wedding and furniture) so I did that instead. Total cals burned: 94

Total Calories consumed: 1648

BMR 2320 plus 94 activities= 2414-500(weight loss)= budget of 1914. So I am under budget by 266

Tummy has felt a bit iffy since I took my last antibiotic hence I haven't really wanted to eat or cook much. Hopefully a good night's sleep will fix it.

Hi everyone! I am back from Florida! I didn't get a chance to post the results of my fitness assessment I did with my trainer last week- I have a great BMI, but my body fat percentage is a bit high. I need to lose at least 2% of the fat I have. Not bad, but not great. We worked out today and I lifted some weights, did some stretches, and survived my enemy the stick. This past week I ate pretty terribly because I was on vacation with my family, but hopefully I will do better in the week to come! We ordered "seafood" online, so stirfry with fake shrimp here I come!!

OK... here is my reporting in......
My BMR = 2385 + I burned 1325 calories 60 minute Step Class
Then 60 minute Weight Resistance Training Class - 1272 less calories to get to my goal = 2438 calorie food budget .

STEP
High intensity, low impact movements performed on and off a step platform with or without risers. This class consists of medium level movement patters. Intensity level determined by speed, travel, and execution of movements.

REP REEBOK - Weight Resistance Training
Periodized group training utilizing barbells & dumbells. Class rotates monthly between strength, power and endurance formats, providing the changes you need to avoid plateaus and maximize results.

Breakfast: 170 calories Toasted Nutz N Cranberries Luna Bar & Water

Before Working Out: 180 calories Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna Bar & Water I did not PLAN on taking the weight class thinking I would be way too tired after the STEP class...since I did the Hot Yoga last night and was not sure how I would feel...so anyway, that is why I did not have the Soy Protein Shake. I feel really good today... I think that Hot Yoga rejuvenated me big time!!

While Working Out: 7 calories 2 Altoids & Water

Lunch : 446 calories Plain Bagel w/RF Tomato Basil UFO and Smoked King Salmon (I got all the nutritional info from the bagel shop) & Water

Snacks during the day in no order : 537 calories ,Jamba Juice & Soft Pretzel (while shopping at Whole Foods I LOVE THAT PLACE!!), 2 Ginger Altoids, 2 BIG Strawberries, & Water

Dinner: 647 calories Crockpot Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken (THANKS KREE) over Basmati Rice & Water YUMMERS... I say EVERYONE needs to try this one!!

Fiber Pills: 2.25 calories total

Without any more snacks at all....(subject to change) = 1989.25 calories

Total Water intake SO FAR = 80 oz

I WILL have UFO w/more water. That WILL added 250 calories for a total of 2239.25 . Still in my food budget!!

still sore.. couldn't get out of bed for 3 hours or go back to sleep this AM till DH got me a heating pad for awhile... he brougt me on on the couch last night and took the one from the bed rather then getting the other out of the closet.. so now they are reversed- fine with me.. one down here and one upstairs.. its been a mess...

I went to the yarn shops with a friend brielfy yesterday and we went out to dinner. but oter then that and helping put silverware away when DH emptied the dishwasher I spent most of the day right here on the futon with the laptop and TV and my knitting. Need to grab that and a movie as the laptop is getting heavy on my lap soon... I can use it without worsening pain, buit it is kinda heavy... knitting isn't since its baby sweaters.

Yeah, I know... pesky bread, why do you have to be so darn tasty?!

The potato frittata is something I used to make all the time, and it's tasty in a comfort-food kind of way, but I managed to screw it up last night. What you do is take a cooked potato, slice it thin, and lay the slices evenly in a small ovenproof frying pan sprayed with cooking spray. Then you pour over a mixture of eggs, soy milk, and a little soy cheese, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder & rosemary. Cook it till it's basically set, and then pop it in the broiler to finish off the top.

What would have worked best is the equivalent of 2 eggs and 1/4 cup soy milk, maybe even just a couple tablespoons. I used the equivalent of 1 egg, and it basically refused to cook. But I ate it anyway, and it tasted good.

Nothing too exciting for me today...

Pre-breakfast - graham crackers
Breakfast - oatmeal w/ maple syrup & rice milk
Lunch - left over herbed chicken fettucini
no mid-day snacks today
Dinner - rotisserie chicken, oven fries, corn & wheat bread
Late-night snack - grapes
I barely made it to 64oz of water today, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I even got to 64oz .
