When I did WW, they had a different system, not points, but I can't remember the name now.
Anyway, I wonder if you have checked the points against calorie values for these foods? I can't imagine that a bread roll, especially French bread, is double the calories of 2oz of chicken. Carbs are not that high in calories if eaten without fat ... am I missing something here? Is WW now based on some other theory apart from calorie control? I suppose I should go to their website to find out, but if anyone can explain it to me, I'd be grateful.
BTW, Cindy, I never thought you were trying to antagonize and I'm sure no-one else did either. It is hard trying to balance different goals eg weight loss and IBS control (the same thing would apply for other combined problems too.) I've made a decision to prioritise IBS right now and I've been fortunate to lose weight too. But it's not surprising that we don't all have the same priorities at the same time - it would be surprising if we did!
Hope you find a way round this.
Josephine
