My Saturday, so far:

So we joined a gym today! YEAH!!! We even shelled out the money for three personal training sessions each. Good for you!! The trainer seems nice, he focuses on core and balance stabilization so that your training is for something- in my case to help with my running. Before we joined we took a free spin class. cycling? Let me tell you- spinning is HARD!! I was sweating a lot and my lungs and heart were BURNING (darn GERD, wish I could exercise without the heart pains). I didn't do that great, but I kept pedalling the whole time, even if I didn't stand up when they were. How many calories does spin class burn anyway? Oh, yes, it is...I've taken it ONE time.. it was just called Cycling.... my @$$ hurt so bad after and my inner thighs were RAW.... I will try it again sometime...now that my weight is down I think I could handle it better. To figure out the calories burned, go to www.caloriesperhour.com and search for cycling...then pick how fast you think YOU went.

And this is what I have eaten:
coffee- 4 I did not see this!
"corn beef" hash- 6?
total of 10 points...
I still need to have dinner at some point, but now I'm heading off to the theatre!

Try this site for calories burned: http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.html Shell gave me that link and it's *great* - it calculates for you based on your height, weight, and age, rather than just giving you an arbitrary number.

Good job with the class!

Oh thanks Casey... I just replyed to her report and gave her the same link...hehehe (great minds)

here so far I've watched the boob tube.. but I think I'm going to go back to books.. wasn't sure how I felt about a book on the bike because its the same one I ride on the roads... so no back support like the stationary at work, etc..

anyway- Hopefully I'll make my 150, I think I've opted to forgo tonight in favor of the AM because its so late and I'm still cleaning- taking a break.. I can't figure out what DH and his friend did today but I could kill both of them and they disapeared. EIther they didn't finish things or they really screwed them up after they left! MEN!! LOL

Holy moly, Shell!! LOL
You kicked BUTT!! yes, my own!! lol I can't believe you managed to do two classes in a row - that's so awesome. Especially after a step class, I took a step class once and hated it.. I am way too uncoordinated and almost fell off my little step! I was afraid I would be the same way... but I was told, as long as you've got rhythm you should be fine...lol... I did not fall off but did end up facing the opposite direction of the rest of the class on several occasions ... but I just smiled and kept moving...I had a blast and loved the music too... I think music is KEY in lots of the classes. I was exhausted by the end of it!
I'm so proud of you, you're just doing wicked! Thanks so much!!
**hugs**

I screwed up big time yesterday (3/5)! I started out well, had a luna bar and then a subway sandwich for lunch and then I ate a whole bunch of frozen yogurt! Like, a WHOLE BUNCH! oops...
So of course, I made myself get major D because of that bad food choice and only ate pretzels later on.
Bad, bad day.. It's a new day....chin up!!

has had any cheese choices other then parm that didn't have cassein or whey in them. even the rice/soy/almond based ones... so I've given up. for the most part its fine.. just sometimes I miss it a lot when everyone else is having cheese.. I even do cheeseless pizza now.
