My personal trainer suggested that I try drinking these meal replacement (protein) shakes for breakfast and lunch. She said I could have one at breakfast, then a snack, then one at lunch, then a snack and then a reasonable dinner.
I'm just wondering if this is bad for IBS? Should I not be missing the 2 meals? Any advice is appreciated.

...so at the very least you'd need something like Acacia in the shake. And watch the labels...most of those shakes are dairy/whey based.
