Hi all! Hi there!!
So with my exams and stuff I have been pretty bad at Reporting In, but I have been trying to count calories on my own.. but it is not going well! We all have a hard time every once in a while... I have eaten lotsa bad stuff that I shouldn't have, so I have to make some new goals! OK, lets read about them....
My last goals were too silly, and if I didn't do crazy exercise my fodo budget was waaay too low to be reasonable.
My new goal is to lose 5 lbs by March 18th, so one month from today. NO PROBLEM!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!
I also need to concentrate on drinking more water, as I used to have no problem drinking up to 2.5 L a day, but I just haven't been lately. Oh, me too....that is hard to get enough in all the time I wanted to get one of those big water bottles to carry around with me to make it easier to drink water at school.
Adrian also got me an exercise DVD for Valentine's Day (romantic, I know. hee hee) that is called 10 minute solution, and it has 10 minutes on each muscle group so you can either just do one a day, or mix and match what muscle groups you want to work so I am going to try and do that most days. What a great guy....he listened to your needed (wants, desires)
So I weighed myself today and will be Weighing In on Fridays now 'cause it seems to make more sense. If I can lose 5 lbs a month for the next 3 months, I can lose 15 lbs by May when I go to Mexico.. does that sound reasonable? Aim for 2 pounds per week to keep it off and do it healthy.....so in other words YES... you can drop 15 in 3 months. Just watch your calories in calories out!!
Thanks guys, I'll report in for today later!

I caved in a bit to day to baked french fries. Here's hoping tomorrow's better. I can't help but cheat on my kids meals. 28 points (target 22) but with flex points I'm still OK. Just no snacks tonight!!!!!!!!!!

Breakfast - oatmeal w/ sugar & cinnamon, rice milk, 1/2 grapefruit
Lunch - chicken sandwich (made with left over rotisserie chicken... oh so yummy) w/ light mayo on rye bread, oven fries, and a blueberry, strawberry and banana smoothy made with rice milk
Dinner - plain spaghetti, spinach salad w/ mushrooms & a little avocado and light Italian dressing, and a handful of pistachios.
Water - 64+oz
Excercise - I met with a personal trainer today and had a little endurance test so she could come up with a program for me. I also learned how to use the machines that I will be using and tried them out.

Hi again!
Here is my reporting in for today:
Exercise: Burned 180 calories doing 25 minutes on the elliptical.. I think my elliptical must not be as effective as the one I used to use at the gym 'cause that one used to burn WAY more calories than that, but any amount'll help!! I also did some sit-ups and about 15 minutes with weights:

Calorie Budget: 1405 calories.

Breakfast: Two pieces white toast with peanut butter and strawberry jam = 354 calories - WAY more than I normally have for breakfast, but I had a craving!

Snack: Peppermint tea, Orange bar = 82 calories

Lunch: Chicken Sandwich at Subway = 408 calories

Dinner: Pasta w/ICBINB and soy cheese. Orange bar. Peppermint tea = 483 calories

Snack: UFO = 157 calories

Total: 1484 calories - 79 calories over my food budget! I will hopefully do better once I eat smaller amounts for breakfast.

Water Intake: 4 pint glasses of water and 2 BIG cups of peppermint tea. I am going to drink some more before I go to bed.

I feel like I did well today, so no regrets! Back again tomorrow!

I'm glad you talked with someone....the more comfortable you are with people at the gym, the harder you work yourself....you just watch...you will be kickin your own butt in no time!!
