I've gained over 30 pounds since last july. It's time for it to come off and it wasn't happening on my own so I joined. I'm going to need y'alls support through this. I don't exactly have lots of willpower. It's going to be a huge challenge.

I've been on WW since 3/8/04.
It's worked great for me. Lost 76 lbs to date

At first it was extremely easy, as i've found most diets.
Of course you come to the time when you have to apply your willpower, however i found it easy once i was on it for about a month.

I'm useing the winnerpoints with a fixed amount every day.
I don't go to meeting and only use my sister-in-laws books so i stick with the same thing.

I've heard of flex point but don't know the machanics of it.

When my sister was on it years ago they didn't use the point system. I think they had 3 catagorys and you had grams, or something, you weren't suppost to go over.
I do know it was a different system though.

I like it because with ibs my diet is limited and WW doesn't bane any food, it just gets you to eat better by way of your own choosing.

I've found finding fat free and 98% fat free foods a big help. I've found a bag of popcorn only 2.5 points, and a big bag too not the snake size. And when my stomach feels up to it I've found 98% fat free icecream with only 1 point a half cup!. That's the same as lowfat yogurt! of course i think in reality it is frozen yogurt.

Also i found a marinade seasoning that doesn't upset my stomach! Not only that, but by reading the back of a yogurt container I found out that you can substitute yogurt for oil in the marinade. Great because of the high points in oil.

I'll put this tread in my favorites and post again as i think of more.

good luck
peace

When I started my exercise program a month ago I have looked at it as some Mommy Time away from Ben for Don and Ben to play together. It makes it easier to stick with it than telling myself - OK come on you have to work out!

We're all here for ya! You can do it!! You'll be fine!!!

I forgot to mention that i find i have to jump the gun and deduct points before i reach the weight for it i.e. eat for ~12 lighter.

WW is IMHO the only sensible way to lose weight that is healthy and that the weight will stay off. My friend has lost 10lbs since Christmas on it.

Report in with your no of points for encouragement

Keep up the good work!
