New to IBS just found site yesterday

I need to get recipes since my PCAs don't know what to cook for me and the last one made chili that made me sick for a week and I'm still not better My IBS hasn't been this bad before. [color:purple] [/color]

Welcome to the boards. It's good that you're asking questions, but I think you'll find the "IBS Recipes" link at the top of the page much more benificial for food. Also, if you click on the "message Boards" link, you'll find the Recipe Index Exchange. Good luck.

Welcome! You're in the right place! In addition to Rachel's suggestion, you might want to read a couple of the introductory posts at the top of list of messages here. There's a lot of really good info there. As far as recipes, I would start by showing people what we call the "what to eat when you can't eat anything" list of soluble fiber foods. They should be the basis of every meal. Then print out the list of trigger foods, which includes red meat, fried foods, anything high fat, etc.
