Is gatorade okay for IBS-D? Also what kind of sweets can I eat. I love red veins and chewy candy like gummy bears, etc. Are these okay?
Are baked Lays chips safe?

I can't touch Gatoraide! It is way too acidic for me. I'm a D also. Red Viens and gummie bears are among my favorite candies and do not cause me a problem. I have not tried the baked Lays, sorry. When I am craving sweets and don't want candy, I have a handful of Honeycomb cereal.

Gatorade should be fine. Don't be alarmed though if when you are having a bad IBS-D day, that the color is purple when you go. That happened to me one time when I was drinking grape gatorade. Freaked me out.
As far as the candy. It's mostly trial and error. Alot of people on the site can't have chocolate. I can have all the chocolate I want without it bothering me. I can't, however, have Swedish Red Fish (chewy gummy type candy). They hurt my stomach.
Good luck!

Graham crackers are good for a sweet-but-don't-want-candy craving, too. Especially if you like the cinnamon ones, they're a bit sweeter than the regular.

Gatorade is best avoided. It's full of artificial junk and can cause trouble. Baked Lays is fine. The candies are probably fine after a safe meal. Make sure they're not full of high fructose corn syrup.
