I just ate a couple Luna Bars last week, and I loved them. I did check the ingredients to make sure there wasn't anything bad in them, and they seemed fine, even the ones with chocolate. (I think it might be carob instead of milk chocolate) Anyway, I tried one with cranberries and one that was like a pecan pie. Very yummy!

And I think the best two are the peppermint one, and the nutz over chocolate.

I've tried all of these and really liked them all... but my fav has got to be Nutz Over Chocolate.... I would love to locate the peppermint ones. I've just recently started having one per day. Got a great deal on them at Costco...the only bad thing is, the box only has 3 flavors in it (*)

Chai Tea
Cherry Covered Chocolate
Chocolate Pecan Pie*
Lemon Zest*
Nutz Over Chocolate*
Peanut Butter 'N Jelly

Oh yeah - I eat one a day too. And I almost forgot about Key Lime Pie - that one is awesome too. I'm not so crazy about the Cherry Covered Chocolate one, but it's ok.

It's not carob, it's cocoa!

Cocoa is fine, chocolate is on the trigger list due to fat content.

I've found the Luna Bars make me a teensy bit gassy and crampy. Do they have a lot of soy in them? That might be my problem as I don't eat much soy so I'm not used to it.

Yes they have lots of soy protien in them. I have no problems with soy and I eat/drink a lot of it. My husband, however, gets sick from soy - so that makes it a big pain for making dinners!

To tell you the truth, the only flavor I don't like is the Peanut Butter and Jelly one. The rest are yummy!

I do too. I eat several a week. The toasted nuts and cranberries has only 3 grams of fat and is very good (more like a traditional granola bar). I eat those mostly because of the fat content but I like the peppermint stick best. I have never met a Luna bar I didn't like. My husband loves them too and I tease him that 'they have all the nutrients your female body needs,' but he doesn't seem to mind.

My husband won't eat them because they say 'The Whole Nutrition Bar for Women'. Like they are poisen for men or something.

I've been looking over the Luna bars and not all of them are safe, many have high insoluble fiber. The Lemon Zest has 3g soluble fiber and 0g insoluble fiber. But it also has 5 grams of fat. Is 3g soluble fiber enough to make 5g of fat safe to eat or should I be having the bar in combination with another high soluble food?

I am not a fan of the lemon flavor, but I do fine with almost all the flavors. I can't do the peppermint stick on an empty stomach, but otherwise, they are safe for me w/out extra food.

Careful - Lemon Zest Luna bars contain inulin. You may want to read what Heather says about inulin.
