Going to the doctor today...

Making another visit to the doctor. This is a combined visit. I get all of my bloodtest results back but I have to take a Urine sample (couldn't "go" last week) and the always wonderful pap smear. I'm going to see if she'll let me try lexapro as therapy and numerous stress management techniques haven't helped. So i'm excited to go, but then again not. I hate getting a pap smear done... Hate it!
Anyway, wish me luck, i'll update you when I get back.
And I just received my eating for ibs book, peppermint caps and fennel tea. Thanks Heather!

I think everyone hates the pap 
I just had mine Monday - and ya know what made it worse?? There was an intern in the room too! So I had 2 women feeling each breast, and then while my doc did the pap, I have this young girl who looks scared watching the whole thing! Ugh. I'm glad it's over. But the year seems to fly inbetween them

Back from the doctor. She did my pap as fast and painless as she could. Glad thats over. As far as my IBS goes, she just looked over my results from everything I had from my last doc, looked over all of my blood, kidney, liver etc tests and said everything there was normal. So she confirmed my diagnosis and she gave me 30 days of Lexapro at the lowest dosage, and if I feel that after a few weeks it's not working, I can email her and she will tell me what to up the dosage to.
Anyone on this have to go above the minimum dosage of 1 pill a day? I'm curious to know..
