Question about colds.

Hi Everyone,
I am beginning to think that I am a weirdo. For the past 2 weeks I have had this obnoxious cold. It never really got bad but I had AWFUL post nasal drip. Anyway, tonight I just had a SEVERE D attack.. it was awful. I notice that i tend to do this at the tail end of a cold for some strange reason. My mom says it's probably my body trying to get rid of the virus. I was just wondering if I was the only one this happens to. It was just terrible. I hope it completely stops soon.

I have chronic sinusitis and my doctor told me that the awful stuff dripping down your throat into your belly can cause irritation and the lovely D. Try to really rest up and get rid of the virus and make sure that you don't have a sinus infection. Feel better soon.

I've had this happen to me too. I usually can tolerate Sudafed during the day (at night it keeps me awake) and that helps dry up my runny nose a bit. Hope you feel better!
