Hello!!!!
I know it's been a really long time since I last wrote on the board but I'm back!!!
We are right in the strawberry season in Québec right now and when I first saw them, I thought: "might as well forget how good they are, I ain't gonna be able to eat that this summer year" but that was very sad!!!! However, today, when I went grocery shopping I thought: I could put some strawberries into the blender, liquefy them and then, put them into a strainer so that as many seeds as possible will be eliminated. Plus, I thought I would eat that with baguette (french bread)in order to have some soluble fibers as well. I did that just a few minutes ago and it was SO GOOD!!!!!!!! THAT tasted like Summer!! I don't know yet whether or not I will feel fine tomorrow, but I wanna think that I will.(!) I was wondering how you guys are doing with berries. Raspberries and blueberries are coming soon, I wanna be ready for them too!!!!

Hi, Chantale!! Nice to see you!!
Yeah, I've been doing berry smoothies all season, YUM!!!! Actually I'm stable enough that I can have berries on my cereal and even a bowl of berries along with a soluble fiber biscuit or cookie or toast or something.
So let you body guide you and if there's no repercussions from today, ENJOY!!!!

Hey Chantel -- I completely hear you about the berries. I was at a BBQ over the weekend and for dessert they served this kosher sorbet-type stuff with piles of fresh blueberries, strawberries and the biggest blackberries I've ever seen on top. Mmmmmmmmm....

I bought some Strawberry and Rasberry Sorbet but there were seeds in them and then I found Haagen-Dazs Sorbets. They are very smooth and have NO seeds in them. I can eat them just fine. Rasberry Sorbet has the following ingredients in it: Water, Rasberry puree, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Fruit Pectin, Lemon Juice Concentrate. Note: May contain trace amounts of milk protein.

See if you can find Polaner- All Fruit, Spreadable Fruit. Seedless Blackberry... It's great on sourdough bread. I do fine with bananas, strawberries and peaches with my oatmeal in the morning. Hope this helps some...
