I'm so hungry that I'm shaking, but today I'm bloated. It feels like my colon is pushing up into my ribs. (is that disgusting or what?) Has anyone else ever felt this way?

Yep-I have been there and have a fair amount of bloat today. Best thing for me is chamomile tea and rice or noodles. Plus I use Benefiber-you can work up to 2 TBS per day, or Acacia if you like. Gas X or Librax help reduce the bloat or a good walk will too. Lots of wAter. a heating pad on your tummy. Hope I helped. Maryh

I've been taking Benefiber and have been trying to change over to the Acacia. I've been taking the Acacia for a couple of days, and this morning I got sick to my stomach with it. I'll try the tea and water though, thanks much!

Hey thanks Maryh! One question...plain rice or noodles?? If not, what can I put on them? I've been struggling with that. Whoops!!! I guess that's more than one question!

Yes, I do. I particularly become aware of it when I'm doing my morning sitting meditation. I can feel the difference in my breathing; when I'm bloating (whether from a bit of "intestinal distress" or PMS) the breath feels very constricted. Interesting how different bodies experience & percieve things differently, huh?
Fennel tea is so very helpful (warning... disgusting vocabulary coming) makes you fart like a banshee, but that's kinda what we want, isn't it, to get the gas out?
Also, in answer to another question on this thread, try a little chicken broth or ponzu sauce on the rice or noodles. Makes them very palatable. Good wishes; hope you're feeling better soon.

Hi Paula:
lol!!! Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not sure what ponzu sauce is but I think i'll try the broth.

I have read your posts and looked at your picture but have never been so attentive to details as to notice important things. I live in Big Lake too! That is pretty incredible.
