Banana and canned pinapple make a great sandwich!
Apples peeled and cooked
canned mandarine oranges
canteloupe - in small amounts

Hope this helps! The peppermint tea in large amounts helps the most.

Just wondering what grapes do to you? Do they make the "C" worse or does it cause "D." I have hypoglycemia and CHRONIC constipation so I am battling trying to find fruits that will not aggrevate my hypoglycemia but will help me be more regular. Any suggestions out there?

I can eat a cup of white seedless grapes every other after dinner or lunch and it helps my chronic constipation A LOT!

Fruit in smoothies - bananas / strawberries / blueberries
Mango is good
Papaya hasn't given me a problem
Bosc pears are okay
Avocado (I think technically it's a "fruit"??)

I've stayed away from every other fruit since starting on this diet...!

I can't go near them! One grape, and I have BIG D!

I need someone to peel them for me....

I'm a "C" and can do apple sauce, apple deserts and just about anything apple. Cooked mostly, but when I'm REAL stable, and after a meal of highly soluble foods I can eat a small, organic raw apple.

I can tolerate dates but many can't.

Citus is a trigger for almost everyone, be a C or D.

Most can tolerate berries, either cooked or in a smoothie....

Peaches and pears seem to be ok as well as they are higher in soluble fiber.

You'll just have to test ones, in small amounts to see what works best for you. It helps to be stable before testing any of these. When I'm in attack mode, I don't eat any fruits, only highly soluble veggies, like squashes.

I can eat any fruits pretty much, just have to watch the amounts. Like I can eat an apple, but eating 2 in a day would be a bit much. The other day I ate raisens AND then grapes, bad idea!!! I try to not eat too much of either, though I am able to eat some. I don't think I've ever had trouble with oranges, but I believe they have insoluble fiber *shrug*. Just have some at a time of things and see how it goes, it's trial and error.

As a "C"....I stay away from grapes as they cause major gas, bloating and pain.

Bananas are my safest staple. I can eat them by themselves and they don't bother me. Apples and peaches (peeled of course) are also very safe for me, although I usually eat them after soluble fiber. I can actually eat most other fruits in small amounts after a meal, but those three are the only ones I don't need to be quite as careful with.
