Hi guys,
I'm sure I read in one of Heather's posts, a suggestion that cranberry juice was OK, but no other.
Is this right and if so, why only cranberry?
Thanks,
Bev

Hi Bev, I just assumed that it was because cranberry juice would be low in fructose, which can trigger attacks. The sweetness of most cranberry cocktails comes from sugar, which is OK.
Confirmation anyone???

Cranberry juice seems to be the most tolerated fruit juice. Why exactly, I'm not sure. Maybe Heather or someone else can answer that. But, you want to get unsweetened 100% cranberry juice. Check the ingredients, because it has to be 100% cranberry - a lot of them use grape and apple juices also. The brand at my store is called Just Cranberry.
