of being sick?
i was not doing so well last saturday. i had some pita bread and tuna (with fat free mayo) for lunch and was feeling like i was heading into a bad bad stomache place. I had to take my preschooler to a birthday party so off we went with me feeling pretty queasy. I'm a c, so the whole d thing is not an issue its just that feeling of intense indigestion/bloating/gas/pukey nauseousness. anyway, there wasn't much i could eat but i did help myself to a few chunks of freshly cut pineapple. By my third chunk i was fine - as in perfectly fine! lol. I was amazed! today i 'cheated' and when my kiddos didn't finish their pancakes with syrup this morning i helped myself to a few bites. within 20 minutes i was feeling a bit 'off'. I didn't have any pineapple (ok, i did, but i was saving it for the angel food cake. LOL) so i ate two dried mango slices and poof! tummy all better ?!?!
is it just me or are these foods known to help? will go search now but figured i'd ask. I have taken papaya enzymes and they do absolutely nothing for me so this all surprised me!! in a good way of course

I take Bromelain which is made from Pineapple extract. It's always worked for me!

Instead of fat-free mayo, try vegan mayo made with soy or canola oil. I found some at whole foods. Comes in low fat too. My mouth didn't know the difference but my tummy sure did!
