(i ask entirely too many questions, huh?!)

anyway, i know i should get tested for this, because even though i've been to many doctors, they've never done it. but i need to know, Who does this? a regular doctor or GI specialist? if anyone has had this done, do you happen to know how expensive it is, and would it be better if i went ahead and bought a personal policy through Blue Shield or something for $50/mo. or whatever? (i don't have insurance right now; i know, i'm bad .)

Julia,
I had the blood test done for celiac first by a regular Doc. I had insurance so I am not sure of the cost. If the blood work shows anything positive you have to have the endoscopy done which is in out patient procedure, that may be pretty costly. Call your docs office and ask the cost of the bloodwork, that may be as far as you have to go and then it will be off your mind anyways.

Good Luck.
Cindy
