I tried making jello pudding with rice milk and it didn't ever set up. It still tasted pretty good but it didn't ever 'pudding.' Don't know if there is something else you need to do to make it actually work with the thinner milk. Anyone??

Jello is a no-no. I believe it's because of the food dye. I don't eat the stuff anyway, so I never paid much attention. But you can do a search for it -- I know this was discussed several months ago.

Bevrs, I think she was asking about the jello pudding and not the regular jello.

I'm not sure on the pudding being safe...but I do know that soy milk at least silk soy doesn't set up in jello. Try a different brand of soy milk.

I know she was. It doesn't matter. Check out my post and Heather's answer: web page

Yesterday I had chocolate flavored soy pudding from the HFS -- not amazing, but might satisfy a craving. The consistency is perfect, but the taste is a little different, but not at all bad.

Belsoy makes an amazing soy pudding already in the cups (it'll take you back to your childhood lunch box in an instant!). They're yummy. Look in the pudding section or organic section of your grocery store. They are my ultimate treat.

No Jello Puddings...or regular Jello. That's the rule of the diet...Now I know alot of IBS'ers and they eat it and have no problems with it, using fat free brands with fat free milk. BUt when I was sick and the Dr. said well we have to do more test eat tthe brat diet and treat as the flu. Jello made me worse everytime as well as Gatorade's.
So I guess some can handle it and others not. Eating for Ibs is not.
