does anyone's symptoms seem to get worse when they're about to start their period? that's a pattern i've noticed. i just started the diet about a week in a half ago and have felt great, but today i feel really bloated and burpy, and i'm going to start my period sometime this week. i'm on ortho-cyclen lo and on the "sugar pills" week. i'm just wondering if anyone else notices this.

Yep... my period's due to come today and I've been really iffy all afternoon. It happens every month. I'd recommend eating very carefully when you're about to start so you don't upset your tummy!

Yup, my time of the month made my IBS absolutely awful. I'm on DepoProvera, the birth control shot, so that I have don't have that time of the month anymore and my hormones don't fluctuate as much. It's helped me a lot.
