Aww, I understand too, Bev! I had the worst case of D I've had in months yesterday morning, and I'm still having pains now....I don't celebrate Easter, though, and neither does my best friend, so he took care of me and made me take some naps yesterday and watched movies with me to make me relax some. The problem was I have so much schoolwork and I didn't get any done this weekend, so I'll be a little bogged down this week, but my health is more important. And I've had nothing but white rice flour bread, plain rice, applesauce, and water since my attack, so I understand the missing out on food! Feel better soon, chica!

I second the cocoa idea... it really does nip those cravings in the bud, and it's not that many calories at all!! Bev is so wise.

Jen, I'm sorry about today; what a horrible way to spend Easter -- on the pot! Yes, I remember that day too. It SOOOOO sucks!

BUT, tomorrow is gonna be a piece of cake. The prep is the worst part, believe me! And, once they give you those drugs, you won't think about food, Girlfriend -- trust me. When you wake up, you STILL won't be thinking about food -- you'll just float out of there on the best high you've ever had!

ENJOY!

Let us know how it goes, wontcha?

Bev

Okay, you need to understand the soluble fiber a little better. No, you don't stop taking it because of the D. I'm a D too, and actually when I take more of the soluble fiber supplement I feel better. I take acacia regularly -- every morning and night -- but when I have an attack, I take Equalactin ALSO; it seems to calm down my tummy. Hey, I should be taking it right now! Why didn't I think of it?!

You want to start out slowly with the acacia and work the dosage up SLOWWWWLY. I started out at 1 teaspoon twice a day; four months later I'm up to 1 teaspoon + 1 tablespoon twice a day.

The hypnotherapy will be very helpful for your depression and panic attacks. Michael completely rid me of my anxiety, and I haven't had a panic attack since.

I was also on an antidepressant, but it caused cramping -- as if I needed more cramps! I spoke with my doc and stopped taking them.

How do you like that Levsin? Does it work on the D or the cramps? Both? Is it as good as the Donnatal?

Easter was a horrible day for me; I'm better (I think) because the cramps are gone, replaced now by DIARRHEA! Groan.... I'm gonna have no choice but to pull out the heavy guns (Donnatal), much as I regret it...

Have a good evening, and thanks for your kind words.

Bev

I hope everyone is doing better today! I completely gave in yesterday and I ate McDonald's......I was punished. But a couple trips to the bathroom and I was alright. I just had to get into my new car and GO somewhere, so I stopped in the nearest drive-thru even though that little voice told me to stay away! Oh well. *sigh*

I hope this finds you all better, especially you Bev, so you can be radiant at your meeting!

Happy anniversary, Steph!

Yes, cutie-pie, I'm all healed now. Thanks!

Yeah, I woke up with a flat tummy. For days I looked about 8-months along! Whew, what a relief. I'm totally cleaned out.

You'd think, though, that I'd have slept all night long, but no, I have to wake up in the middle of the night when no one else is online. Don'tcha hate it when that happens? It's spooky!

Decided against the salmon salad bowl. My meeting is late, and if I have the salad bowl I'll pay for it, I'm sure. In a meeting one can't let their wind blow free, if you get my DRIFT .....

Hey, happy anniversary! I think I know how YOU'LL be celebrating!
