You know, it really is consoling to know that others go through this. When I have an attack like this -- which, thank God, is seldom, I think I'm suffering alone, and that the pain will never go away. I know better, I do -- but I have to remind myself. And then, when I read posts like yours, the pain seems to lighten up a little.

The worst part, though, is disappointing hubby. He was looking forward to going out to brunch -- I know he was -- despite what he says to the contrary. He's really a trooper. I have to find a way to make this up to him....

Thanks again, and I hope you guys have a nice Easter.

Bev

Gee, I've never tried that. What a clever idea. I'll look for it next time I'm in the grocery store.

Thanks!

No RKTs for me; I'm on a diet of no sugaaaa. But thanks for the suggestion. You have them for me.

Jenny-O. In the microwave, eh? All-right! I'm gonna goferit.

Happy Easter to you too, Jules.

Let me know what you think. Also makes a great breakfast with some sourdough toast and egg whites! As for the brunch reservations...make them on another sunday, and tell him you're going to IHOP. Then go there instead, and without the anticipation, it will be an extra added treat! I know I love surprises

Thanks for your post, Jenny. What a bummer for you, working on a paper. You should be celebrating with some handsome dude over a bottle of .... well, water I guess.

I'll be thinking about you too, pretty lady -- and looking forward to guessing who's out on American Idol with you.

Sorry you are not having such a fun Easter. Any kind of pepperoni sounds dangerous to me. As far as zukes go, were they peeled? I haven't tried zukes yet in years but was going to try peeled when I do. We didn't do the usual family get together this year as everyone had different plans so back home already and just veggin' out here. I barely ate as I was a little nauseaus around noon, don't know why so no chocolate bunnies for me either.

Thanks for sharing Bevr with us. She has been such a great help to all of us with her good advise, smiling face, encouragement and just being an all around caring person. She probably spends lots of time on the computer checking up on all of us but we all are in need of people who understand what we are going through. She frequently talks about how much you support her and what a good sport you are about all the inconveniences that go along with IBS. You sound like a perfect hubby to me. I'm sorry your Easter plans were nixed by an IBS attack but I know you know Bev is pretty disappointed to be disappointming you, as we all are when our attacks spoil fun for others. Keep doing the great "supporting hubby" job you are doing. You are Bev are lucky to have each other. Not everyone here is as lucky as the two of you.

First, Bev my heart goes out to you! I know how annoying and frustrating that is. I had a bad day on Friday and I was sick for all of yesterday too. I hope that your pain and ache go away soon. Maybe you should listen to the 1st session of Michaels CD's. That one always helps me.

Second, Bev after today I am going on the no sugar diet. I am going to cut it out. I have eaten enough peeps to last at least 10 more Easters! I do not need it anymore! Tomorrow I am going to go full force and focus for one month on losing weight.

I wanted to ask, what do you eat when you get a really big sugar craving? Do you crave it at all anymore??? I need a little support, I have been a sugarholic for years, so I am a little worried on how I will do it.

Have a good celebration tomorrow...your Salmon will still be good

Oh, I have my handsome dude... he's cleaning the house while I work. Yeah, we'll have to party later this week when you're feeling better!

Are you feeling better yet?

Bev,
I hate to hear you are feeling so poorly. I hope that you are feeling better soon. Your hubby sounds like a sweetie pie.
