I have given up on caffeine, switched to herbal teas as Heather suggested, but I sure miss regular iced tea. Is it ok to have an occasional glass?:)
Thanks, Daisy

In regular tea you have 2 possible triggers - caffeine and the tannins in tea. If you try making iced tea with decaf, you at least won't have the possibility of the caffeine trigger. Personally, I can handle decaf tea just fine.

I make homemade ice tea...southern girl myself. I use decaf tea bages (4). I put them in a pot with cold water and bring to a boil then I remove from burner and let steep for five minutes. I like sweet tea myself or just omit the following. I add 1/2 cup sugar to a 1 gallon container. I pour the hot tea over the sugar so it melts evenly. Then fill the rest with cold water. I have not had any problems with this at all and my family loves it too.

Thanks, I will try it. I was sure hoping that someone would say that regular tea bags would work
