Did you talk to your Dr. about pregnancy and IBS? I was thinking about making an appointment with mine today, but I am still procrastinating. We are planning at this point to try this summer, never had any problems before getting pregnant (my youngest was a complete shock). I don't want to be sick all summer long and I am suppose to graduate in May. We want to push it off until July, so hopefully next April we will have a baby. I am one of those strange people who have figured out which month a baby will be born based on conception.
I am also trying to avoid all the family birthdays. Yesterday was my oldest daughter's fifth birthday and in about three weeks my other daughter will be three.

Hi Torbetta! Yes I did talk with my Dr. I asked if she had many pts. with IBS - she said yes. One of my concerns were the prenatal vitamins. She wanted me to take a prenatal vitamin with a stool softner in it (I am IBS-C). I'm taking Metamucil and feel I'm doing o.k. with it. I just really didn't want to introduce any new meds until I needed to. So she gave me a script for the regular vitamin. P.S. June/July is when we were planning/hoping to get pregnant too!
