Worse AFTER BM

THis is so embarrassing, but has anyone ever felt worse for awhile after going to the bathroom? I get that often; and I have NO IDEA why? I thought that with IBS that we should feel better afterwards. It doesn't happen everytime, but it is weird when it does..any help??

On rare occasion I also feel worse--for maybe half an hour. How long does this last for you? Does it happen frequently? I'm curious to hear what others will say....good luck!!!

Hi Ruchie, it doesn't happen too frequently, but enough to make me curious. It eventually does go away, like you said, about 1/2 hour, but it is strange. Thanks for the support!

Yeh, me too, but not lately. Mine lasted about 15 minutes afterward, but directly afterward even before I got up, was the worst. It hasn't happened for quite a while now...but until I read your post, I had completely forgotten about it. Maybe it's a stablilization thing. I don't know. Oh, Well.
