"AH, alcohol! The cause of, and solution to, most of life's problems!" (Homer Simpson)

It really varies for me. I can't really drink beer anymore, although the occasional glass of wine or harder stuff sometimes will be fine, sometimes it won't though. It all depends.

Thank you all so much for the input. Now that I think about it, I have always wondered why beer (which I really like) sends me looking for a restroom many times the next day, but straight whiskey has not ever had the same effect.
You guys are great. Hope I can help someone out someday. For now, I'll just keep on reading your great posts and maybe with a drink in hand.
Cheers!! Joner 316

....a bottle of the best Pinot Grigio money can buy, and, just for old times's sake, a 6-pack of Amstel.

Yep, Mr. Amstel and I had a good relationship as well, he helped me out a lot, but we split over weight loss.

Mr. Amstel helped you out, and just because of a little weight issue, you split? How fickle!

I remain true to my Jack; we just don't get together as often.

I found out that a glass of wine drunk after dinner or even a shot of vodka or sth like that, actually helps, as if dinner was digested faster, and I do feel better then. However, I'm sure that beer and other fizzy drinks are intolerable BTW, I've got the feeling that alcohol can be good to me 'coz it helps to relax at least a little....:)
