I cannot tolerate soy. I was having very bad D for quite awile after I started understanding IBS and using the things available to me here. I kept getting sicker and sicker. Then I realized that it "might" be soy. I stopped using anything with soy in it and thats not easy because everything seems to have soy in it, and my cramps and D stopped. I now use Almond milk and read lables and try to stay away from soy completely. It makes me mad because there are so many good things you can cook that have soy in them but there not for me.

I was born and raised a vegetarian, so I've had soy products all of my life. They do not trigger my IBS-D. In fact, I've been using West Soy milk and loving it. I hope you feel better soon, Chris. God bless!

I also do really well with soy, although I drink rice milk sometimes too because I don't like relying completely on one food. Like many foods, how you tolerate it is definitely an individual thing!
