Metamucil works for many people. My husband swears by it, but I take others.

If you haven't tried Heather's acacia you may want to, however I don't know about shipping to Canada.

Can you get Konsyl there? That's still my favorite and will work when nothing else does.

There are so, so, so many forms that you have to find one that is right for you. It's all trial and error and very individualized.

Have not heard of Konsyl but will look it up.

Can get material from Heather. Problem is our Canadian dollar which is better than before (now 75 cents), but we also have to pay a 7% Sales Tax on the American price.

However will see what it cost.

Thanks.

This time of year with our winter this year wish I was in Southern California instead of Southern, Ontario, Caada

Even with the added price and 7 % sales tax her acacia is reasonable. (We have a 7.75% sales tax where I live.)

Here is a link about Konsyl. If you have Walmarts they carry it, or any good drug store. I warn you....it thickens fast, so mix fast with tepid water and drink it fast. The acacia is not that way and can be put into your favorite beverage.

Konsyl

It IS psyllium but ground differently so easier on the system.

We are warmer than you for sure, but had our day of snow last week. Because where I am is elevated 3,000 ft. we are colder than the beach areas. It's considered High Desert and if you remember Roy Rogers/Dale Evans from the western movies, it's where they resided.

Come summer I'd rather be in Canada and enjoying the cooler weather and some good fishing.
