I dont know what is going on with my stomach but I definetely cant take anymore of this. I am at school right now and for the past 2 days i have felt soo bad. It feels like i have so much pressure on my stomach and like someone is punching me. All I have eaten that may have caused this is a banana. I am so mentally tired of this and if I wake up tomorrow and its bad(and Im sure it will bw cause Im in so much pain right now) I wont know what to do. Any advice? Could a single banana cause all this trouble. Oh, and not to be gross or anything, but I feel like Im C but my poop is green-whats up with that?? Thanks for any help!

All you had to eat was a BANANA? That's IT? Maybe you need to put some food in your tummy. Also, are you taking enough fiber? What about stress? You said you're in school, right? Stress, as you know, is a terrible trigger. Your post sounds like you're pretty stressed out right now. You're stressed out about the IBS, which in turn is causing you more stress. Is there any way you can relax? Yoga? Meditation? Running? Stretching? ROWING? (Sorry, that last one was for me.)
I know it's frustrating -- it is for ALL of us -- but you need to keep some food in your tummy and you need to do something about the stress. I wish I could help you more -- I don't know what's going on with the green poop, except perhaps you're not taking enough fiber?
Hope it's better for you today.

i tend to stop eating when im having a bad time too...but maybe that is not the best thing. others will know better..but maybe you should try some tea and toast to at least fill up the empty space. having an empty stomach i think can cause gas....hope eyou feel better soon. im with you..i am so darn sick of this......

I think I read somewhere that if your poop is green it means that it travelled through your system to fast. Not sure but thats just something that i've seen. Do a search on the web, maybe you'll find something. But hang in there, you're not alone, i'm in school too!

Allison, sometimes the things our bodies do are inexplicable. Maybe it wasn't anything you ate that set you off, maybe it was hormones, or stress as Bev mentioned. Just take it easy and eat the safest foods possible, that's about all you can do. Take care, and remember that we've all been through this %^&* and that we're here for you.
