I noticed this ingredient listed in an organic product i bought. It says it is a dietary fiber...but how do i know if it is soluble or not..or safe??? Has anyone heard of it??

Bev, thanks for the link, that was useful to me too. One thing I noticed in that thread was a mention of guar gum. I too have an intolerance to all the vegetable gums including carageenan. Again something that can be healthy and helpful for one person can be "hideously wrong" for another person (to quote Joseph a couple of days ago!)
