I'm sure we all do get attacks and can not figure out why. You will stress yourself out more if you keep worrying about it.

What foods did you eat? If you let us know we can try to help you figure it out.

Hope you feel better soon.

In answer to your question -- yes. BUT, as everyone here knows, I keep a food diary (and have been for years). It helps me keep track of everything I eat, how much I eat, when I eat it, and the resulting reactions I get, including my poops and what they're like.

While it sounds tiresome -- and it IS (I balked at doing it originally), it truly does help me pinpoint any possible triggers when the inevitable attack occurs. So far I've been able to track down each and every culprit.

However, I think I blamed the last attack on my beloved ADBs, when in fact it was really the flu.

Yep, that happened to me last night for the first time in a while and I'm still feeling the effects. Sigh. I think sometimes our bodies just have other things going on, like hormones, so that no matter what we eat it will bother us. However, I agree that most of the time there is some cause, and keeping a food diary is a great way of figuring it out. I did that for quite a while and it was very enlightening! Different things bother everyone, so it really helps to monitor. As for me, I had mushrooms (pureed in a soup!) for the first time in a looong time last night, so it's going to be a while before I try eating them again.

Yes, I do. Heather even said in one of her recent posts that she's given up trying to figure out the cause every time. I just accept that every once in a while my body just goes haywire. I blame it on sunspots! How's that for a theory!

yes, some time I think when you have a twisted knotted colon like I do it takes longer for the food to get down.
