Sorry I don't come in here much, don't want every one affected by me being so negative lately. This diet thing is not working for me and that really broke my spirit. I asked my doctor about how many fiber tabs I should really be taking, he said the max for the powder and I told him I can't handle the powder so he tells me to take milk of magnesia every day, UH NO! Specialist said not to every day. I am eating like I should, I don't eat very much now again because the diet is not working, it is not stress either. I do how ever want to know is there some thing I can do to calm down or regulate my hormones. This time when that time of the month came I was so sick it was horrible. ANy suggestions.

I'm sorry I don't have any good suggestions for you but just wanted to tell you that it's okay if you lean on the people on this website for some help even if you are feeling pretty negative or down about things. You are in my thoughts and I hope you feel better.

Well, I know what it's like to try to regulate hormones! Oh BOY do I know! You need to see your OBGYN or -- in my case -- an endometriologist. Regulating hormones isn't something you can do without professional help.
I can imagine what you're going through, Jenn. Hormones play such an important role in your whole makeup, how you feel about everything and how you act about everything. It's also hard to relax when you're stressed out over everything in your life -- and all because you're just a quart low on estrogen! Before my doctors -- yes, there were quite a few! -- got my hormones under control, I couldn't talk to anyone about anything without bursting out crying. If someone expressed any kind of empathy towards me, or touched me in any way, I'd go running out of the room in tears. I cried uncontrollably every morning in the shower for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
Are you on hormone replacement therapy? Talk to your doctor about your symptoms. Maybe see an OBGYN?
I hope this helps.

Yes, ditto. If you are having a bad day, this is a great place to be. People are so so nice, and someone always says something that makes me giggle a little bit.
As for the hormones, I had migraines for awhile so they switched my birth control to one with steady dose of hormones, the big swing around that time of the month can kick off the migraines. Could you go on a similar pill?

Mircette. They're in a green package. Last time they came with a travel toothbrush!

Do you have that problem too? I cry over any movies or books that are sad. And if I see someone else cry, I feel like crying too.
