What is the difference between regular cranberry juice and cranberry juice cocktail? Other than pure cranberry juice is more expensive, I find that I can tolerate the crangrape, cranraspberry and similar juice mixes just fine. I try to look for coupons for Ocean Spray and other brands. -- I've also found you can order lemonade in most fast food places and restaurants. Also, I tried the sourdough chicken at Jack in the Box - but asked them to remove the cheese - and I did ok with it (the price is not much different that way from ordering a combo and we all know what the fries will do to us anyway). I am curious how others have down with beverages - one I like is the Twister (juice blend) brand. Koolaid seems to be ok also. Strangely enough, I don't know why coffee isn't doing things to me but I guess I've been drinking it for so long. What are some other good beverages to try? Thanks.

ag5t - I drink peppermint and spearmint organic tea mixed. Hot in the morning and iced during the rest of the day. I suppose you'll just have to continue with trial and error.

like sharon, i also drink peppermint tea. I also drink lots of fresh water, sometimes with some lemon in it. i dare drink commercialy prepared juices or fruit juices. Snapple, for instance is about 90% high fructrose corn syrup

Angela, Does the p tea play up your GERD? I have recently been diagnosed with that too and stopped drinking p tea because i was worried that would make it worse.

actually, peppermint tea did affect my GERD once, but since my doc put me on prevacid, i havnt had signs of acid since i dont know when. i can drink peppermint tea like crazy without the worries of heartburn. Sometimes, however, i do get alittle acid reflux after drinking the pepp tea, in that case, i just pop a tum (cherries my fav)and im raring to go
