Jeans? JEANS? You can wear JEANS? WOW! I haven't been able to wear anything without an elastic waist in YEARS! I can't imagine what a waistband would be like. GROAN.

Ahh Bev, Sure you can wear jeans. The new ones are low slung, low profile, hip hugger, heck I don't know what they really are called (I call them my Britney pants, after you-know-who ) since they go below that darn tummy that decides it wants to bloat at times, and then the nice thing is most of them are stretch. Put a long top over them and you're good to go!!!

Gotta keep we vintage gals in the loop you know!!!

Britney Pants! LMBO

I love low-rise jeans. It's all I wear. Well, I have to for my navel piercing anyway.

I don't think so, Girlfriend! I couldn't have worn those pants when I was 20 years old and 100 pounds lighter. But don't let me stop YOU.

They're called low-rise. I hate them, but that's all that they make nowadays. Protest!!

I'm with you Peaches... I try to buy pants and then I'm compelled to buy new microscopic underwear... and it makes it difficult to sit down... oh and all of the college girls don't even worry about that, and it's hard to teach when you're staring at a thong if you're lucky and butt if you're not.

Low Rise? Low Rise? Is that what they call them?............Now I ask you, how can something permanently down go up....what moron named them that?.....
Oh well, we used to have "peddle pushers" and "clam diggers"...when you think about those names I guess low rise doesn't sound so bad

ROTF-LMBO................Guess the navel piercing is next for me ....wonder if my hubby will buy me a diamond to put in there????..................OMG, I can't even stand myself now, there's no fool like an old fool!!!
But hey, I'm with you, love the things.... except no one needs sees the tum-tum. If they did I'd be arrested for eye polution!!! Nope, gotta have the long tops, and even those are getting harder and harder to come by..............PG dept. here we come

Now those B* flossing panties are another story...........a thong? I've spent over 50 years trying to keep material OUT of there, why would I want it to be there on purpose now????

How'd we get on this subject anyway...........Bev, you started it all you know!!!

Masayo,

Dear if your a size one or on a bad day a 2-4 I don't think you need to lose any weight! Thats pretty small! I know how you feel though with the bloating. I'm a size 2 - 4 depending on the day and The bloating is a real pain.
Somedays I really look pregnant! Small everywhere else and then the dang belly! I have a lot of the low rise pants too. Somedays that's good and other days I hate the darn things. I swear pants are so hard to buy now days! However I just got some really cute ones at the gap...you might like them. Cargo draw string. Really comfortable! Not tight at all. They were on sale too. You might find some on there website!

Sorry I'm going on and on!! Don't worry about the weight...It could be water retention. That happens to me also. I have lost weight on this diet. 114 down to 107 and I wasn't trying too. I just gave up my love....Hot fudge sundays...brownies...Mc Donals Mc Fluries.. All that bad stuff that tastes sooooo good!

Try the fennel tea..it helps!

Take care!
Steph
