Bev, you are a stitch! I know the feeling, but you describe it with such wit.

Bev you had me laughing so hard that I read your post to my husband. The only mistake was I read your post in front of my 7 year old. He ran upstairs yelling someone poop a football out of their butt! Of course he is my ADHD child and his meds begin to wear off by supper time. It took awhile to get him to stop saying it.

Somehow I can picture you on that crazy diet. Although we all know you do a great job sticking to the right foods now. Except when you oink, oink the other day.

Cute kid, Barb! I can really picture it.

Yeah, crazy diet, eh? It was fun 'cause I could have all the Jack I wanted -- and chocolate pudding with lots of whipped cream -- oooh baby! I remember coming home from work for lunch every day and popping an "instant burger" in the toaster oven with lots of cheese and smothering it with ketchup. I craved broccoli and apples something fiece.

Amazing that I'm still alive.

Girlfriend, I lost 30 pounds! Hubby lost too (but he can't remember that far back how many).

But don't forget -- it was 100 years ago. I went on a diet once when I was young -- the fun days -- I wanted to lose a quick 5 pounds in one weekend, okay? Ate nothing but Hershey's candy bars. By Monday I was down 5 pounds.

Like I said, it's amazing I'm still alive.

Joan, pretty lady, you have to understand I was only -- what? -- lets see, it was in 1968 -- I must have been -- oh, yeah -- 24 years old at the time! At that age, who couldn't lose weight?! I remember wanting to drop a few quick pounds to get into my wedding dress in 1966. I ate balogna and tomato -- and lost overnight. I was only 22! What did I know about nutrition -- and what did I care? -- I just wanted to be a hottie!

I never had much luck at any age losing weight. I even took those stupid Dexatrim pills in my younger years and they did nothing.

Phen Phen worked marvelously -- especially the Ionamine. I was WIRED! Never wanted to eat, so I never did.

I lost a ton of weight on the Ionamine, but there was a FANTASTIC side effect for me (but not for Don) -- uh, I'm sure you got the picture. Poor guy, he finally said no more!
