IBS attacks becoming more frequent and more severe

HI- I had my IBS 99% under control, using Heather's tips for years.....suddenly my IBS attacks are more frequent and more severe....within the past year. Sometimes stress is a trigger but I'm under much LESS stress this year that previously. Any idea what's going on? Thanks.

Hi Sorry to hear that your IBS is worse! If I were you I would go to my gastroenterologist and tell him or her what you posted here. Go through your memory and ask yourself if you have been put on a new medication or some new medical issue has cropped up. I wish you the BEST and hope your IBS is soon under control AGAIN!

Originally diagnosed with IBS-C in Spring, 2008. During spring to fall of 2008, had at least 10 acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs. IBS went into remission. IBS returned in late July 2013 after taking 2 oral contrasts for a CT scan for cancer follow up. Had more acupuncture with different practitioner in summer 2014, but received little benefit.
