I know eating frequently is advised. What kind of portion sizes are we talking about though? Like what is too much/too little?

Also, I'm trying to gain weight. What are some safe snack ideas? All i can think of are pretty low calories and not very nutritious like pretzels, baked crisps, slice of bread, banana.

Are peeled apples safe to eat on their own or not? I soya desserts safe to eat on their own too?

Apples are high FODMAP and may worsen symptoms. And soya desserts made from whole soya beans are high FODMAP too and may worsen symptoms.

Do you know about the clinically proven FODMAP elimination/re-introduction diet shown to reduce symptoms in 70-80% of IBS suffers?

I gave some measurements and to try dividing your lunch and dinner to help you out in my longer reply to your other post...
Look back at The First Year: IBS book especially (like eating the suggested fortified cereals for snacks;Apple sauce was mentioned in the book.) AND the simpler recipes in the Eating For IBS recipe book. Did you for sure read through both books? You're going to have to cook some things if you want to be even more nutritious, especially for variety aside from what you can buy quickly from the store. I mentioned I take vitamins. If you're flairing, don't do the soy bean or products, just the soy protein added to a drink maybe.
