started the tummy tamer 4 weeks ago (travel packets) went from one per day to two after about 2 weeks. began having multiple (2-3) regular bms (not diarrhea)per day, which would have been great except that I got discomfort at my lower back- just like when I have c....what gives?

Do you drink enough?
I started with half measure teaspoon, after a week 2x half measure teaspoon,2 weeks later 1 measure teaspoon and 1 x half and so on.

I am not sure how much is in a travelpacket? I believe that is 1 measure teaspoon? Maybe that is too much to start with?

Drink enough water and herbal teas and start with less a day. Good luck.

yes, the packet is one teaspoon. A half teaspoon of this soluble fiber will make that much difference?! ok...and the 'more water' always hits a nerve. So, then, the 'extra' bms were too much motility? that's the low back discomfort? doesn't make sense but will run with that for now. Thanks for your reply.

I am not sure if the low back pain means you've got too much motility. I know from myself that if my lowerback hurts a lot, I often need to go to the toilet before that pain dissapears. But everyone is different. I hope someone else can help you out with that question.
Good luck.
