Lots of info searching this forum..For IBS-D, take calcium carbonate to magnesium ratio of 2:1 potencies, to help keep the two minerals balanced with each other, as well helps each other's absorption. Since most combos of that ratio contain magnesium citrate or oxide, I take my mag glycinate/lycinate from Doctor's Best in a separate pill with my cal. I have a paper from Sprout's supplement area that helped me find which mags have good absorption, yet less likely to zip through; The calcium carb. taken with that helps prevent zip too. Take calc. carb. that has D in it to help addit. absorption, especially with food.
